Edenshine Restaurant's name originates from a combination of Janet's mother's maiden name and Father's surname. It means something special, something to be proud of. Edenshine opened in 1991, Adrian and my roles may have changed a little since then but we still remain very much hands on and involved in the daily running of things. In fact you will see both of us serving, chatting to our lovely customers, baking and helping in the kitchen as needed.

We have some fantastic staff working with us both in the kitchen and in the Restaurant, many that have been with us for a long time now and become like a work family. Edenshine stands for Fresh and Delicious, we specialise in homemade and use as much local produce as possible. Fresh good ingredients is the start to any thing we make, from the cakes we bake with the local free range eggs to the meat that comes from Denbigh and a local Butchers in Caerwys. Fresh trout from Bodfari - just a few minutes down the road, our bead is baked locally in Denbigh and the Welsh cream and milk from a Welsh dairy. Using local suppliers and having good relationships with them is a key part to our food quality.

The specials menu changes every two weeks retaining the traditional and popular dishes, but allowing us to offer some wonderful specials making use of the ingredients we have around us and the seasons. To accompany the specials menu we have a wide selection of sandwiches, homemade burgers, salads and starters that are always available.
